Fleet Safety Program

The Fleet Safety Team manages and administers the South Carolina Fleet Safety Program to ensure the safest possible operation of the state's motor vehicle fleet.

Elements of the fleet safety program include:

• Ensuring that driver safety training (including the specialized van driver's safety course) requirements are met. 

• Checking motor vehicle records of current and potential state employees.

  • Agencies may contact the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles and inquire about their Employer Notification System (ENS).

Fleet Safety Training

Upon registration, confirmation will be sent to the attendee’s email. Seats are at first come first served basis.

Eight (8)-Hour Certification

December 11, 2024 - Virtual Class - Full Day (Time: 9:00 a.m.-5:00p.m.)

December 31, 2024 - Virtual Class - Full Day (Time: 9:00 a.m.-5:00p.m.)

Four (4)-Hour Certification

November 26, 2024 - Virtual Class - This is a refresher training class. Training time is 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
